The Gift - Giver
1.Rumors: a story that spreads from one person to another and is believed to be true even.
2. acquaintances: a person whom one knows but with whom believes.
3. authorities: persons with power to make and to enforce rules.
4. embarass: to cause to feel nervous or ill to ease.
5. stoop: a small starcase or porch leading to the entrane of a house or building.
6. foster home: a household in which one or more children who are not related to the parents are shelteved and cared for.
